ANALYSIS OF OPTIONS FOR USING SIMPLE GEOMETRIC FIGURES IN FORMING THE EXTERNAL CONTOUR OF CAR LOGOS

Discussed are 299 logos used until a mass-produced car in the world over a century ago. Compared to the actual logos and using methods of correlation analysis assessed the relationship between visibility parameter (readability) of the logo depending on factors external circuit, considered as a simple geometric shape - circle, ellipse/oval, triangle, square, pentagon/hexagon and arc-polygon. Proved the high degree of correlation between the test parameter and factor making conclusions about the choice of the outside contour and the inside contents of car logo for a future car production.
