Obtaining of Solid Biofuels from Plant Waste (Review)

Review of scientiёc publications and patents relating to the methods of producting of solid biofuels from plant waste was accomplished. It should be noted that most research were aimed at improving the existing methods for the production of briquettes and pellets from wood waste and expanding the raw material base for the production of solid biofuels through the use of non-wood plant biomass and municipal waste. It’s shown the use of environmentally friendly binders based on plant polymers for the production of solid biofuels it makes possible to increase the density, strength and water resistance of the briquettes.
