The research paper presents the analysis of methodology for assessing the effectiveness of activities of the executive authorities of the Russian Federation exempliёed by activity of the Committee for Social Policy of St. Petersburg. The key performance indicators of the civil servants’ activity from the Committee for Social Policy of St. Petersburg, proposed by the author, allow evaluating the effectiveness of the civil servant’s activity. The prospects for applying this methodology as one of the ways for ёghting corruption in this government bodies are considered.
